About

Director of User Experience, leading the Discovery and Engagement team at Mailchimp.

I am originally from Atlanta, GA and have recently moved back after four years living and working in New York and one year traveling the country working remotely from an Airstream travel trailer named Totto.

I’ve been a collage artist for over 10 years and I also dabble in ceramic hand building, zine publishing, loom weaving, and Japanese timber framing. I am the founder and former co-organizer of the ATL Design Systems meetup, an initiative to build community and learning among design systems practitioners living and working in Atlanta.

I’m currently a Director of User Experience, leading the Discovery and Engagement team at Mailchimp. I believe in designing holistic customer centered experiences, that a great user experience is one defined by subtraction, and the best product teams are collaborative, cross-functional, and diverse. I’m passionate about making people feel safe, valued, and supported. My leadership style is grounded in a strong sense of curiosity to better understand the folks I’m guiding, the customer I’m building for, or the organization I’m working within.
